This was our first attempt to breed Cowgirl
and Mick together.
I wanted a Mantle male and a Harlequin Female and I got 4 mantles, three females and one male.
We kept the male and named him Lucian.
At about 9 months his bite went level, by 11 months he had a pretty serious underbite and
at that time we made the very hard decision to neuter and place him as a pet.
We tried this breeding 3 times.
On the third litter we finally produced the harlequins we had been looking for and a more normal litter size.
Cowgirl had abnormal heat cycles, some times coming in at 4 months intervals,
other times at 9 month, because of this we were very worried about a possible Pyometra.
After consulting with our Repro Vet we decided that getting the breedings done and
over with and spaying her as quickly as possible was the best thing for her.
2nd litter born 10/15/2006 --2 puppies
3rd litter born 4/18/2007 -- 6 puppies
Pictures are not the best, they are what I could salvage after I lost one of our computers.
